Are there any particular rules to obey to merge optional packages into
one package?
Case at hand is gap_packages and database_gap.
On https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/26856 I am planning to put
everything into gap_packages and
replace the spkg-install of database_gap with a script that just prints a
a message saying to install gap_packages to get the
needed functionality. (and remove the package completely after 1 year
passes or so)
Eventually we should package all the GAP packages under a
GPL-compatible license into one standard package (I think just in gap
package directly), and put the rest into another optional package.
